On the 20th of June 2011 I presented the paper “Business Process Management for Open E-services in Local Government – Experience Report” written by myself, David
Truffet (Australia) and Gustaf Juell-Skielse at the 1st International Working Conference of Business Process Modeling, Development and Support (BPMDS), which was held in conjuction to the CAiSE 2011 conference in London.
The paper summarizes the experiences of utilizing the open source workflow and business process management system YAWL as a back-end system for the development of a prototype of a municipal e-service for applications of emergency phone social service.
Information about the prototype and a pre-print of the paper can be found here.
