Hi!
My name is Nam (short form of Naghmeh). I’d like to take this opportunity to write on the Syslab blog to shortly introduce myself and tell about my background.
I’ve been a PhD student at DSV for almost two months now and my supervisor is Janis Stirna and my co-supervisor is Martin Henkel. I’m involving in EnRiMa EU-Project and mainly working with designing a GUI for EnRiMa Decision Support System.
I started my university studies in computer engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus, with a background of mathematics and physics. I have got my BSc in IT management, from Jönköping International Business School and did my bachelor thesis within Free/Open Source Software. I studied my MSc within Computer and System Science at Uppsala University and my magister (1st year master) thesis was within social media and e-learning. I have been working on a conference paper as my 2nd year master thesis regarding e-collaboration in EU projects. During my education, I’ve been involving in IS/IT projects, and based on my research interests and thesis works, I have worked on the conference papers and scientific articles. I’m so interested in doing research and would eagerly like to develop my knowledge within this field.
I look forward to getting to know more people at DSV in the coming months!
Kind regards,
Nam
